How a consultation works
This page sets out what happens after you write: what we will ask, what is free, what costs money, and at which point you can decide whether to go on.
It exists so that a first message is not a leap into the unknown. Someone in this situation already controls too little.
Step zero: the risk test
If you are not sure whether there is any reason for concern at all, start with the test on this site. Ten questions, scored entirely in your browser; your answers go nowhere unless you choose to send them. The test does not replace an assessment, but it separates anxiety from actual risk — which covers half of all enquiries.
The first message
Write through any channel: the form on this site, Telegram or WhatsApp. You do not need to disclose everything in the first message. The country, the nature of the situation and what worries you is enough. Names, case numbers and details are not needed at this stage — and are better left until we have agreed which channel to use for them.
How long to wait for a reply
Usually within one or two hours. We reply at any hour when we see a message, but we do not write on our own initiative during the night in your time zone. If there is no reply after a day, something did not arrive — write again through another channel.
Clarifying questions
Next we ask questions: which country initiated, what stage the case is at, whether you hold any documents, where and when you plan to travel. These are not form-filling: the answer to your question literally depends on each of them. If you are not ready to answer, say so — we will explain what can and cannot be assessed without it.
The free part
The first reply to your enquiry is free. This is not an engagement tactic: a good share of enquiries end right there, because the honest answer is «on what you describe, there is no cause for concern». You will get that answer, and you will not pay for it.
Consultation with a lawyer
If the situation needs a proper look, the next step is a consultation, 100 euro. It is credited towards the service fee if you decide to go on. The consultation covers your specific case: what is known, what the options are, what you must not do, what will cost time and money. Date and time are agreed between us.
What the consultation will not contain
A promise of an outcome. A date by which a notice will be removed. An assurance that some country will definitely not detain you. If that is what you need to hear, we cannot help — not because we do not want to, but because no one can say those things honestly.
If you decide to go ahead
We state the limits of the work before the price: what is included, what is not, at which point a local lawyer or interpreter will be needed. Costs are on the pricing page; the final figure is agreed according to complexity. The consultation is deducted from it.
If you decide not to
That is a normal and frequent outcome. We do not write again, do not send reminders and do not return to the conversation under a new pretext. If you change your mind later, simply write — you will not have to start over.
How we handle what you tell us
The content of the conversation is not discussed with anyone. We state the technical boundary honestly: correspondence runs through messengers and therefore through their servers; a form submission reaches us as a Telegram message. What that means and how long things are kept is set out in the data-storage section and the privacy policy.
