Overview

A bilateral extradition treaty between the UAE and Russia is in force, and surrenders to Russia have happened. UAE airports screen passengers against INTERPOL databases: Red Notice detentions in Dubai are established practice, on arrival and in transit. A residence visa, Golden Visa or property ownership does not protect against extradition.
